Rock Creek State Park

Rock Creek State Park was established in 1952 and remains one of the more popular parks in central Iowa. With over 600 acres of land and the park's beautiful Rock Creek Lake, visitors enjoy a wonderful variety of outdoor activities. Boaters love spending time on the water. All motorized boats are welcome to cruise the lake at "no wake" speeds.

Those who love to fish, enjoy finding the perfect spot along the lake's fifteen miles of shoreline, for a fun day of fishing. The park's multi-use trails are great for hikers, horseback riders, snowmobilers and cross-country skiing. Swimming, canoeing, hiking and wildlife watching are also a great way to spend time in the park. Rest comfortably as a guest of Best Western hotels and enjoy your time in the Grinnell area.
